Why does my towel smell like mold after one use no matter how many times i wash it with hot water and gain?

Its just one towel that does this.. Should I throw it out?Why does my towel smell like mold after one use no matter how many times i wash it with hot water and gain?
I'm not sure why - but I do have a tip for you. Once you've washed your towles, leave them in the washer and add 1/2 cup white vinegar. Then just put the washer through the last rinse cycle. This also works if you ';forget'; the clothes in the wash. It takes out that musty smell. Hope that helps - good luck. Why does my towel smell like mold after one use no matter how many times i wash it with hot water and gain?
soak it in bleach what ever you are smelling might still be alive if it is mold hot water and bleach should do the trick and if the fabric can be bleached use regular Pine Power it disinfects like bleach only it don't damage non-white clothes
If it is just that one towel, it has probably got mold or mildew in it. Toss it. It is probably unhealthy.
Bleach will kill the mold smell. Also hang your towel on a clothes line in the sun. Don't forget to add a little softener to eliminate the bleach smell!
You aren't letting it dry. Bleach will take away the smell but if it doesn't dry thourly it will happen again.
Put some bleach in the laundry water. If it ruins it throw it away.
the thing you might want to try is bleach(if its a white towel) othrwise, get it damp and put it in the microwave for 60sec. be careful when you take it out, it will be hot. The heat will kill off anything, and everything. Careful watch the towel in the microwave, it might combust, if its not wet enough
Bleach and Downy.
add 2 cups of bleach and 2 cups of baking soda to wash water .... you might even let it sit

in this water overnite ..... then add detergent %26amp; continue wash cycle
