Use a mild bleach solution (1 part bleach to 10 parts water) scrub well to be sure you have removed all the mold. Rinse with clear water and allow to dry in the sun.

you can use banking soda and white distilled vinegar.. just make it into a paste like texture let site for about 3 or so hrs.. scrub really well and repeat if necessarily. Safe for your little one.
Wipe it down with hydrogen peroxide and then let it dry in the fresh air and sunshine. Peroxide is used in doctor's offices to sanitize.
After you bleach it, run it through the dishwasher if ya have one.
Use some bleach and soap. It will be fine once it comes off.
