I have a front loader and have no mold problems.Do new front load washing machines still have mold mold problems?
I understand it can still be a problem due to the water that remains just inside the front door. When i bought mine they recommended not shutting the door tight when not in use. Have had it 1.5 years and no mildew and mine is in the basement where there is dampness. Wouldnt buy any other kind but a front loading energy saver.
the ';fix'; for the mold problems is having people not close the door all the way when the washer is not in use...just leave it slightly open that way it can dry out inside.
