its edam garlic cheese, made in amsterdam, and the day after i bought it, it became softer. I dont want to cut it open to see if the mold got into the cheese itself yet, what should i do and should i refridgerate it? or wil the mold endanger my other foodsI have a cheese wheel, what do i do if the wax itself has mold on it, can i wash that off or something?
You could try to rub it off with a dampened cloth, but I think it's time to start consuming it.
